Almost two years on we are just so excited to travel back to New Zealand to spend some real time over there.
We are really sad to be leaving our families and friends for the duration of the trip - we'll be in close touch via the modern miracles of social media and the technology of video calls, and a year will just flash past, we're sure.
But of course, we'll be close to Gilly and Oli, the soon-to-be -here Baby Boyes (and Obster One Kanobster, obviously) and all the friends we will meet up with over there; and of course, all the new friends we will meet along the way!
HERE WE ARE
We travel out mid-May from Glasgow to Auckland. Travelling directly to Queenstown, we will be staying in Wanaka until early September. Winter will be arriving, so ski-time is a top priority along with hiking, cycling, culinary delights and relaxing. We might even slot in a couple of British Lions games along the way!
Then travels around the North & South Islands, a proposed trip to Fiji, a camper van extravaganza in the Spring, Xmas, Summer and maybe even a short hop over to Oz. There's also the anticipation of the delightful summer wedding for G &O.
Just can't believe how lucky we are...
