Oh thank you. Emirates. What a smooth journey; out of Glasgow to Dubai then on again to Kingsford Smith Airport here in Sydney. Overly excited about travelling on the double-decker Airbus 380 (rushed to the the front, pretending that I was driving). Pressed all the buttons on the adjustable electric seats; lie flat, TV watching slouch, Teutonic rigid attention. Diane even managed to embarrass herself by getting the vibrating "massage" stuck to "On" (at least that's what she said...)
Oh, and there's a bar! Sleepless at 3.00am it was time for gins and vodkas. Just like being down the local.
