Slip, Slop, Slap and Wrap

....says our man on Radio Wanaka. Loosley translated as ''get your sunscreen open, on and cover up".

A couple of great days of sun and outside activities. First, a climb up the less challenging Western Face of Rocky Mountain, with views right over Lake Wananka and Glendhu Bay

Blimey, a bit breezy at the top, but when we dropped down in to the lee of the wind, lent up against a boulder, comfy grass and a great lunch, life couldn't be better.

Then, tea and a brutal croquet competition at Lavender Farm. I was unaware it is a contact sport. Here, calm before the storm.

The storm.

Hanging out at Lot 3

Then down to the beach on the lake.

Plenty of photo-bomb opportunties - even Oban gets in on the act!

...and finally, doesn't everyone love a cute puppy. Aaaaahhh!
